Christians have been debating this argument for a very long time and I have attempted to study both sides of the argument. Should a Christian tithe since we live in the NT? After many years of struggle and studying this topic, I have come to my own conclusion based on my own personal testimonies after 25 years of following Jesus.
I have tithed for many years and then there have been many times as a single full time father with two boys, when I did not have money to tithe. I have seen the grace of God and His blessing in both circumstances. I have made it a practice to study and memorize OT scripture (God's conditional promises) to help me prosper in my business. I have many testimonies to the proof of Abrahamic promises that renewed my way of thinking and daily activities to achieve success in this cursed world of Satan. My belief is that we are to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth as God commanded in the Lord's prayer.
My conclusion... I love to tithe to God out of an act of worship (not a legalistic tax way of thinking) thanking Him for my
provisions from Him. I also believe in the Abrahamic promises of God when I tithe and I have seen it first hand and up close.
I have seen God's promise stated in Malachi 3:11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the
fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts. I personally believe in
tithing and a monthly first fruit offering for the richness of blessings in God as Abraham experienced, but when I come up short...
God's grace is right there for my peace.

An example of how to speak God's promises into our lives
We have been living in very challenging times for most of us and probably our biggest challenge has been provisions, not
just in America but abroad. To live in the Abraham covenant is to speak God's promises into our situations. It is a game changer.
Just start with one verse and memorize it and then grow from there with additional verses to strengthen your renewed mind.
1. As Christians we are grafted into the Abraham Covenant and we are expected to partake in the blessings of being
Abraham's seed. We are to prosper according to the promise from God to Abraham and his descendants.
Romans 11:17 (NKJV)
And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV)
12 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Galatians 3:29 (NKJV)... And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
2. We can speak the promises of God's word into our financial challenges (other challenges as well). Say these verses out loud
to yourself frequently and watch God supernaturally change your circumstances. Pray these verses over others as well prophetically.
Psalm 1:1-3 (NKJV)
1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers
of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
John 10:10 (NKJV)
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Job 36:11 (NKJV)
If they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity,
And their years in pleasures.
Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall
reap if we do not lose heart.
Psalm 35:27 (NKJV)
Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And
let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure
in the prosperity of His servant.”
Psalm 118:25 (NKJV)
Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
Jeremiah 33:9 (NKJV)
Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’
Isaiah 41:13 (NKJV)
For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Ezekiel 37:4 (NKJV)
Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
1 John 3:8 (NKJV) He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Psalm 23 is about how God will cause us to prosper so that we are not in a state of want...
Psalm 23 (NKJV)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a
table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell[a] in the house of the Lord Forever.
Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Malachi 3:6-12 (NKJV)
6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. 7 Yet from the days of your fathers
You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the Lord of hosts.
“But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’ Do Not Rob God 8 “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this
whole nation. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the
Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room
enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; 12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For
you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.

And your vats will overflow with new wine.

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant
which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
